What is Coaching?
A coach’s job is to keep the client accountable for the goals they want to achieve.
Few church leaders lack vision or desire. The sticking point is usually something else- translating intention into consistent action, and staying the course when things get complex or slow.
Coaching is a structured conversation that helps you think clearly, act deliberately, and follow through. Rather than giving advice or quick fixes, a coach works alongside you- asking focused questions, helping you clarify what matters most, and supporting you to take ownership of your next steps.
Why Coaching Works for Leaders
Coaching helps by turning good intentions into consistent action.
Coaching creates space to reflect, sharpen priorities, and make decisions with greater confidence, while also building accountability so progress doesn’t drift. Over time, this leads to real momentum- helping you stay focused, keep moving, and lead with greater clarity and consistency.

“Nathan has walked with me at his invitation to set short- and long-term personal and professional goals. He gently but firmly reminds me and guides me with biblical principles. His relational style and recommendation of books blows my mind, as these will often hit the right spot. I highly recommend Nathan to anyone who seeks a coach.”

“
Nathan has been my ministry coach for around three years. This has resulted in greater clarity around calling, and just as importantly, turning calling into achievable ministry and mission goals. He has a wonderful ability to help transform the spinning plates and chaotic ministry thoughts swirling around in my head into order and achievability. Investing in Nathan as a ministry coach is money well spent – an investment that will result in positive kingdom outcomes.

“I had been in my role for one year, and it was time to plan and clarify my next steps. I felt stuck. That is when I reached out to Nathan for some coaching. It was exactly what I needed. He helped me filter through the noise in my head and organise my thoughts. Slowly, I felt unstuck as I moved forward.
